FAQ

Explore the FAQs below to better understand each of our roofing services, and how Titan Restoration’s mastery ensures unmatched results.

Shingle roof repair involves replacing damaged, missing, or curling asphalt shingles to restore the roof’s protective barrier. Titan Restoration identifies compromised areas, removes deteriorated shingles, and installs new high-performance shingles that match in style and color.

If the roof is aging, has widespread damage, or persistent leaks, full replacement is recommended. Titan removes the old roof, inspects the decking, installs underlayment, and applies architectural-grade shingles designed for maximum weather resistance and longevity.

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a durable rubber membrane used on flat or low-slope roofs. For repairs, Titan Restoration cleans the surface, patches tears or holes with EPDM-compatible adhesives, and reseals seams to restore watertight integrity. When the membrane has extensive shrinkage, cracking, or seam failure, replacement is more effective. Titan installs new EPDM systems using secure, seamless installation methods to prevent future water intrusion.

TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) is a reflective, single-ply roofing membrane. Titan repairs punctures or seam splits by heat-welding TPO patches over the affected areas, ensuring a durable, seamless bond that maintains energy efficiency.

For aging or severely damaged TPO roofs, Titan removes the old membrane and installs a new TPO system with reinforced seams, proper insulation, and edge details to prevent uplift and leaks.

Modified bitumen is a multi-layer asphalt roofing system reinforced with fiberglass or polyester. Repairs involve identifying blisters, splits, or degraded seams, then heat-welding or cold-applying new material to restore the waterproof surface.

If large sections show wear, UV damage, or cracking, a full replacement may be needed. Titan applies new modified bitumen layers with precision to create a reinforced, long-lasting roof system.

This seamless membrane system is applied hot to form a flexible, monolithic barrier. Repairs involve cleaning and reapplying rubberized asphalt to cracks or worn areas to maintain a watertight surface—especially on plaza decks or inverted roofs.

If the membrane is no longer bonding or has delaminated extensively, replacement is recommended. Titan re-prepares the substrate and reapplies hot rubberized asphalt with reinforced fabric layers for optimal waterproofing.

Roof coatings are fluid-applied systems (like silicone or elastomeric) used to extend roof life and seal minor defects. Titan cleans the surface and reapplies coating over worn areas to restore reflectivity and waterproofing.

Typically every 5–10 years, depending on environmental exposure. Titan evaluates your roof’s condition and recommends a maintenance schedule that maximizes your coating investment.
